From Hidden Acres Farm

With a heavy heart, we share the challenging decision to close Hidden Acres Therapeutic Riding Center, effective May 9, 2025. After much consideration, this was not an easy choice; it comes in light of the significant challenges we face due to increasing horse care costs, program expenses, and overall operational demands. Since our founding in 2008, we’ve had the honor of serving thousands of individuals across Connecticut and neighboring states, all made possible by the unwavering generosity of supporters like you.

We sincerely thank each donor, volunteer, staff member, and family who has been a part of our journey. Walking alongside our remarkable participants has been a profound privilege. Your contributions have not only sustained our programs but have also created meaningful impacts in the lives of many. Over the past 17 years, your support has made a significant difference, and we are eternally grateful.

As we navigate this difficult transition, we invite you to reflect on the joy and positive changes that Hidden Acres has facilitated for so many. Let us celebrate the memories and the remarkable journey we’ve shared together.
