Berri is a former show horse that has been at Hidden Acres since she was a baby. She is a fiery redhead with a strong personality but always gracious and loves people. Once a dressage show horse and also trained for carriage driving, she is inquisitive and loves lots of attention. Berri requires daily medication for Cushings disease, which is common in older horses.

Chloe is our most senior horse and truly a jewel. She was a favorite in the riding program with many of our current participants having their first ride on her because of her gentle and quiet nature. She is still as sweet as can be, loves to be groomed and continues to teach new students and volunteers about safe horse handling and care. Chloe is on daily medication for arthritis and gives a friendly nicker when it’s time for her Fig Newton with medication inside.

Coco was initially under weight and hesitant to connect with people when she first came to the farm. Now she is thriving, loves children and is known for giving them a nuzzle at the end of their ride. As a pony she will have the occasional sassy pony energetic moment but always returns to her sweet self. She has a special talent for picking her people and connects with certain energies.

Duncan has been a farm favorite since the day he arrived. The way to Duncan's heart is through a good scratch for those itchy spots (he makes the best faces). A gentle soul who loves his riders, he will automatically stop if they are unbalanced. His size and handsome stature give him a regal appearance.

Jocasta, prior to becoming a therapeutic riding horse, was a champion carriage driving horse. She has a certain air about her that says she’s special and she knows it. She is gentle, kind and beautiful with a soft energy that draws people in. She enjoys taking walks on the trail and receiving a sweet treat at the end.

Quinn is often referred to as “The Mighty Quinn” due to his size and kind nature. He is a rare Curly breed, caused by a gene that gives him a curly coat. Before becoming a therapy horse he was well known as an accomplished dressage show horse. He is a real gentleman and enjoys being around people, making him a frequently requested horse by students.

Zoe used to compete in carriage driving with JoCasta - what a beautiful pair they made! Following her show career, she was in the community lesson and camp programs. She enjoys being groomed and loves to greet visitors at the pasture fence. She is a very down to earth girl.

Little Zoey arrived at the farm with her “sister” Kiera and enjoys working with children, adults or seniors of all abilities. With her calm and quiet presence, she has a special talent for helping those that may initially be fearful of horses, become relaxed. She’s even been known on occasion to dress up and be decorated with sparkles.

Kiera came to us with her "sister" Little Zoey and they look very similar except Kiera has beautiful blue eyes. Kiera enjoys working with adults and senior groups that visit the farm for field trips. With her energetic and playful nature, she can be quite comical at times but fun to work with, especially at liberty in the round pen.
